Thanks for gathering petition signatures, Belinda Kyle, Camille Mathes, Vannessa Dawson--dynamic members of the Perry for Schoolboard Campaign Committe.

In addition to you three, I'm sending this message to others who expressed interest in supporting East Cleveland and/or my campaign or who live or work in East Cleveland. I want to let you know about an opportunity to support.

I need a minimum of 75 petition signatures to run for school board. I intend to gather the maximum--225. The deadline: August 20. So far, I have a little under 80 signatures thanks to the Campaign Committee's help.

Over the next days and weeks, I'm introducing myself to neighbors, gathering signatures, and distributing flyers.

If you or people you know want to help, please tell me; I'll give you or the people you refer me to a signature sheet and flyers. If you can help in other ways, please tell me.

Each signature gatherer is responsible for her/his entire sheet of 20 names--no one else can gather signatures on that sheet. Also, a signature gatherer can't sign her/his own sheet.
